While the United States was officially at war from December 8, 1941 to September 2, 1945, the collection of correspondence in the Oneida Service News is 250 pages of articles and letters about local service men and women from March 5, 1944 to October 1, 1945. Also unfortunately not every service person had correspondence that was included in the collection of articles.
